MESSAGE ADDRESSED TO STUDENTS'ASSOCIATIONS:

The students' associations that are declared at the Préfecture must make themselves known and register at the DEVE - Direction des Enseignements et de la Vie Etudiante - for all request of FSDIE subsidies (Fond de Solidarité et de Développement des Initiatives Etudiantes).

Students' e-mails:

The local students' e-mail site "web mail" (messetud.unice.fr) will definitely close to be replaced by the 'Virtual Office' as from October 2006.

A new service is already in place for the students: SESAME

• Obtain a university electronic e-mail address
• Management of the accounts (password, alias, ex-directory...)
• Obtain authentification of references: (digital identification, password) that will allow for the following access: Virtual Office, WiFi, computerised rooms, on-line courses, BU, on-line university ...
• Open a student's account on the Virtual Office.

The student's digital identification will be mentioned on the 2006-2007 student cards.  The students' e-mail addresses will gradually change from @messetud.unice.fr to @etu.unice.fr.  A function on sesame allows for this change.
